ISEA2010 RUHR
16th International Symposium for Electronic Art

The ISEA (International Symposium on Electronic Art) is coming to Germany for the first time in 2010. Since 1988 it has given media artists, scholars, and art enthusiasts from all over the world insight into the newest productions and questions within contemporary media art and digital culture.

ISEA2010 starts off on the weekend of 20–22 August with performances, workshops, and a lecture programme at PACT Zollverein. Then in Dortmund the main exhibitions, concerts, and conferences will be held (23–27 AUG). Concluding the festival will be a weekend focused on art, urbanity, and ecology in Duisburg (28–29 AUG).

ISEA2010 RUHR (16th International Symposium on Electronic Art) is a project by the European Capital of Culture RUHR.2010, organised on behalf of the Medienwerk NRW by the Hartware MedienKunstVerein, funded by the RUHR.2010 GmbH, the Minister President of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the City of Dortmund, The Arts Foundation of North Rhine-Westphalia, among others.
